Identify the Heater and Complete Kit
Share the product link, manual, height, base dimensions and package count. A tall reflector-style heater, a cabinet-bodied model and an electric heater on a stand can have different supports and assembly sequences. Identify wheels, ballast provisions, guards or other parts supplied for your specific model.
Have labeled hardware and the parts list available. Mention damaged body sections, a cracked guard or missing fittings before scheduling. A component that does not match the manual should not be forced into place or replaced with an improvised fastener. Repairing a used heater is a different request from assembling its complete supplied kit.
Check Outdoor Clearance and Access
Use the manufacturer’s permitted-location and clearance instructions when choosing the site. Show overhead covers, umbrellas, nearby walls, seating and paths through the patio. The heater’s small base does not describe the full space required around its heat-producing sections. A covered or enclosed location must not be assumed suitable simply because the heater fits.
Describe the ground surface, slope and route from delivery, including gates or steps. Clear a protected working area where the tall components can be handled without striking nearby finishes. Moving a completed heater through a tight passage may be more difficult than carrying its boxed parts.
Resolve Stability and Weather Conditions
The supplied base, pole or body connections and reflector supports are assembled in the prescribed order. Required ballast, restraints or anchors must match the model and the actual support surface. Agree any materials or site prerequisites before the visit; incomplete stability provisions leave the setup unfinished.
Final review considers frame alignment, base contact and the fit of structural accessories. Follow the manufacturer’s wind, storage and weather-exposure guidance. Assembly does not override those restrictions or make an unstable heater safe on uneven paving.
Separate Assembly From Fuel and Electrical Work
Gas-line installation, fuel-system modification, new circuits and electrical repair are outside this service. Physical assembly is not confirmation that the heater is ready to ignite or operate; required connections and manufacturer pre-use checks must be resolved separately. Built-in or permanently mounted heating systems have a different installation scope.
Concrete bases, grading, new structural support and utility changes are also separate work. If the patio includes a grill or smoker or a patio umbrella, provide their proposed positions so each product’s clearances remain distinct.
