Why the site was rebuilt
The historic domain contained information from the Western Red Cedar Lumber Association about grades, board sizes, fasteners, project types, finishes and maintenance. Much of the navigation and organizational material had become obsolete, while the underlying cedar topics remained useful.
The rebuilt site removes former association addresses, staff, distributor programs and training promotions. It preserves the subject matter through newly written guides and clearly labels historic images and reference tables as educational material.
